Pradeep Rajendran
About Me
I am a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Center for Advanced Manufacturing, University of Southern California. My adviser is Dr. Satyandra K. Gupta who is with the Faculty of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, University of Southern California. I worked in the Realization of Robotic Systems Laboratory. My research is focused on motion planning for autonomous robots in complex environments. My research interests include trajectory planning, task planning, machine learning, robot dynamics and control.
My current research is focused on trajectory planning, with particular attention to high-dimensional state spaces, action and observation uncertainty. I am currently working on path planning for redundant manipulators in highly cluttered environments. I have recently started working on integrating machine learning approaches into trajectory planning methods.
